DI-Water System (function package)
DI-/DM-water supply for the rinsing tank

When cleaning misprints in AQUBE^® and PSE systems, the rinse medium (usually water) should be as free as possible of salts and lime to achieve the desired degree of electrical and optical cleanliness.

The DI-/DM-water system directs either normal drinking/tap water through a resin cartridge into the final rinse tank so that it is desalted and mineral-free or the rinse tank is filled from a DI-water feed provided by the customer.

The integrated DI-monitoring module which is connected to the PLC permanently monitors the water quality by means of μS conductivity via a DI-transmitter placed in the final rinse tank. If it falls below the preset value ("DI warning threshold"), a message ("replace DI cartridge") for changing the resin cartridge or exchanging the water from local DI-water feed is automatically signalized by the PLC.
