Optimum stencil cleaning and screen cleaning – whether for screen stencils, stencil plates, or VectorGuard stencils – is a prerequisite for reproducible quality and low failure rates in both electronics and solar cell production today. Residues and contamination from SMD adhesives and solder paste on screens and stencils, especially in the apertures, lead to printing defects during PCBA production and, in turn, to malfunctions in the finished assemblies.
