An important factor for process reliability in electronics manufacturing is the maintenance cleaning of wave soldering systems and SMD reflow ovens.

Condensate deposits, oil and grease in soldering systems, which can gradually grow despite the installed condensate management units (= separator systems, condensate traps and condensate filters), lead to cross-sectional changes and thus to changes in the air flow conditions.

This can significantly harm the reproducibility of the entire process!

Furthermore, drill holes, recesses, openings as well as drives (chains, etc.) and other areas of these systems become so heavily contaminated over time that process reliability is no longer guaranteed as a result either. These areas must therefore also be cleaned manually on a regular basis.
