The PowerSpray® principle, developed by kolb uses high pressure, high volume pumps which spray the cleaning fluid via special jets on to the goods to be cleaned. With the PowerSpray® principle a fast and thorough cleaning process is warranted. The active and permanent wetting of the goods to be cleaned ensures that the cleaning fluid reaches its optimum effectiveness and any contamination is cleaned offfastly and thoroughly.

Waterbased and odourless

The utilized waterbased detergents guarantee an optimum effectiveness and at the same time ensuring best possible fining of the material. These certified detergents are scent neutral and do not require any special ventilation systems.
Both, the technological principle of the cleaning systems and the optimum cleaning power of the utilized detergents guarantee an efficient cleaning process which leads to perfectly clean purified production tools.

No safety areas required

As the PowerSpray® systems are operated at room temperature (20° - 35° C max .) and with waterbased detergents the machines do not require extra safety areas but can be installed near the production line. The PowerSpray® principle is a comparably muted process with a certified noise level of only < 69 dB (A).

System construction

All elements that are subject to mechanical stress are made of stainless steel, bearings, bases and gliding elements are made of Teflon/PTFE/POM etc. The process chamber and all tubing systems made of PVC.

The PVC parts  connected using a special procedure ensure that, unlike in weld seams of stainless steel containments, electrolysis due to alcaline detergents cannot occur.

This guarantees a long life span of all sections coming into contact with detergent and containments.

More ecological than required by law

kolb offers in its cleaning systems the us of a water-free rinising process with a suitable ph-neutral cleaning detergent  used for rinsing.

When using tap water for rinsing this will likewise be permanently filtered and can thus be used several times.

Cleaning that works reliably

After cleaning and rinsing the process should ensure that the product can be returned into the production right away without additional handling.
Therefore it is essential that they are absolutely dry - such as solder carriers or assembled PCB's.
kolb cleaning systems operate with a patented warm air drying that does ensure this.
